We camped at one of our favorite places in Pagosa Springs,
CO. and had a chance to visit with our friends, Gail and Bob Bruner, several
times. Gail took us on a special trip over Wolf Creek Pass to Creede, CO. What
a treat. Neat old mining town. We had a very nice lunch and walked much of the
Main St. there and made it into quite a few specialty shops.
After that, we drove to the edge of town to their Fire Station that is very
unique, in that it is built inside a cave. Of course, we made our way in and
since no one was there, we toured it on our own.
Then, we were off to the mining area. Amazing that some of
those old buildings and structures are even partially standing.
