We left for Memphis and, once again,
had to stop for about an hour to deal with another attack. Fortunately, I took
two pills as soon as it started. It never escalated to a full blown
episode. Hope the old liver is holding its own.
Our RV park is actually located in
Southaven, Mississippi, just south of Memphis. Very nice park, including a
mowed field where I'm able to safely play ball with Bentley off leash. He has
enjoyed his leash free ball playing.
Before arriving at the park, we went
to an RV service center to have the steps fixed. It turned out to be the motor.
Once replaced, steps are working perfectly now. It was nice to put away the
ice chest and Bentley's ramp.
After our long day, we headed over
to Gus’s Fried Chicken. It’s supposed to be one of the top fried chicken places
in the country. I guess we’re a little jaded, since Babe’s here is much better.
Ha! Just our take – others may argue. But, it was a neat place and we had a pretty good dinner. And, one of several places where we were able to get fried green tomatoes.
