Great to be on the road again. We’re
starting 10 weeks later than our usual July escape the heat. Most of the delay
was waiting on a part to fix the RV jacks. Finally, we decided to make the trip
without the jacks. When we got home from Camping World with jack-less Figment, we discovered the steps weren't working
either. Not to worry, we loaded up using an ice chest for a step and hit the
road on Sunday, 9/13.
The first day was not without drama.
We had to pull off the road for an hour due to Mary’s severe upper abdominal
pain. We decided to stop in Texarkana rather than pushing through to Little
Rock.
