Conni – 08-04-12 WY/Canada Trip – Jasper National Park, AB
This morning we pulled up camp to head out. On our way to the exit, we spotted another bear. I was driving Figment and Mary was in the Jeep. So, I got out of the way and Mary took some pictures from the road. We’ve never seen this many bears on previous trips. Kinda makes up for not seeing a moose??

As a last thought, when we reached the entrance/exit, Mary tried once more (I had already tried twice this morning) to get us a campsite for the nite. She lucked out! And, it was a better site!
Later today I wandered out alone and decided to take the 30K trip south along the Icefields Parkway to Athabasca Falls. We have seen these falls on previous trips, but it was worth the time taken to go again.

The falls are not so much known for the height of the falls, but for its force due to the large quantities of water falling into the gorge.
